How do you memorialize a Facebook account if someone dies?

The easiest way is with the help of Digital Legacy Services.

For Facebook, it is possible to memorialize an account, thereby making other Facebook users aware of your Deceased's passing if they visit their profile. Facebook will mark their page with "Remembering". Depending on the Deceased's privacy settings etc. others may be able to submit their comments, memories  etc. to a memorialized page.
