Request Instagram account closure or memorialization for the Deceased.
For Instagram, it is possible to memorialize an account, thereby making other Instagram users aware of your Deceased's passing if they visit their profile. Instagram do not allow further login to Deceased's account but they and their posts, comments etc. will remain visible. Other users will not be made aware that the account has been memorialized.
