The LinkedIn account of the Deceased, continues to show up at several times if not closed. These include showing their connections when the Deceased's work anniversaries occur, and showing the Deceased as "someone you might know" to mutual connections.
These notifications can be very distressing to friends and colleagues of the deceased, in many cases for years after the Deceased has passed.
